"Hannover Facedances" / "Utrecht Facedances" "Woking Facedances" (Video project)
Can a face dance? This question provided the impetus for British performance artist Jonathan Stone to translate an unusual idea into action. To find the answer, he filmed various people in several cities listening to their favourite songs in close-up. The result is a collection of some surprising ‘face dances’ which are just as individual as the people ‘performing’ them. These video portraits are shown on three monitors as an infinite loop.
